After staying quiet about the controversy revolving around Team Secret for a long time, Clement “Puppey†Ivanov has finally spoken up.
Almost half a year has passed since Jacky “EternalEnvy†Mao’s post concerning internal issues with Team Secret during his stay has gone live. Among other claims, EternalEnvy has alleged Team Secret of withholding their winnings from them. EternalEnvy also has put Puppey in a bad light regarding Secret’s team captain’s antics and attitude towards contractual obligations and handling the team in general.
Additionally, OG’s manager Evany Chang had already been talking about the money Team Secret owes their former players months before EternalEnvy’s post, particularly the money owed to Johann “N0tail†Sundstein and Tal “Fly†Azik.
In a Twitlonger post, Puppey broke his silence and has taken responsibility of the previous administrative mishaps of Team Secret. This came after the announcement that former Team Secret Director Kemal Sadikoglu will no longer be working with the team.
Kemal has been a center point of EternalEnvy’s post, especially regarding financial concerns experienced by Mao and some of their former teammates in Team Secret. Kemal will be replaced by John Yao as CEO of Team Secret, brother of Team Secret’s Senior Manager Jorge Yao.
With the team’s organization transitioning towards a new management team, Team Secret’s players meanwhile continues to focus on Dota2. The team’s currently in Sweden for their Kiev Major Bootcamp. Team Secret received a direct invite for the European Qualifiers of the Kiev Major.
Team Secret’s current lineup consists of team captain Puppey in the support role along with Johan “pieliedie†Åström, Maurice “KheZu†Gutmann in the offlane, Yeik “MidOne†Nai Zheng in the midlane and Pyo “MP†No-a in the carry position.
