Keen Gaming and EHOME decides to return the players that they initially traded with each other earlier this year.
Merely months after KG and EHOME traded midlaners, Wanz “old chicken” Zhiyong requested to return to the team that he has called home for years. Thus, Zhai “ying” Jingkai returned to Keen Gaming. This follows KG’s failure to secure Qualifying Points in the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, being eliminated early in the group stage, beating only OG and OpTic Gaming. Both EHOME and Keen have yet to secure any Qualifying Points, but perhaps old chicken’s familiarity with his teammates at EHOME is what prompted him to return.
EHOME’s roster has failed to secure any podium finish in the Dota Pro Circuit, despite fielding two former TI champions, Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida and Zhang “y`” Yiping of Wings Gaming fame. Formerly, EHOME housed veteran Chinese players such as Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng and Ren “eLeVeN” Yangwei. The talent that has passed through EHOME had allowed the organization to secure many regional wins, qualifier victories and local tournaments, but little to no Valve Minors or Majors.
EHOME will be competing starting next week along with other Chinese teams for a spot in The International as the Regional Qualifiers for TI8 will be beginning then.
