EVOS Esports was in top form as they took a sweeping victory over other SEA teams. In the ProDotA Cup Southeast Asia #13, EVOS showed that they were winners. They had a rocky start in the group stages, but managed to finish first in their pod. Meanwhile, Execration and Sterling Global Dragons finished highest in the other group. TNC Tigers fell flat, going two-and-o against EVOS Esports, finishing last in their group.

Landslide Victory

EVOS then showed dominance in the playoffs. Starting off from the upper bracket semifinals, they made short work of all teams that got in their way. Scoring 2-0 against SGD, they send them to the lower bracket. SGD would then fall prey to the Tigers, who bounced back from their disappointing group stage run. EVOS would then beat Execration in the upper bracket finals, with TNC Tigers again cleaning up the carcasses, scoring 2-0 against them in the lower bracket finals.

Clean Sweep

TNC Tigers’ Cinderella run was short-lived, however. Although Tigers went through the lower bracket fierce, EVOS Esports vanquished their flame and scored a clean 3-0 series against them. Tigers failed to play their first game for the series, ending for a default win for EVOS. EVOS then took no quarters, defeating TNC in two successive strikes. EVOS scored victory, going home $15,000 (~Php 800,000) richer. TNC was awarded $5,000 (~Php265,000) for finishing second.
