WESG SEA is in the bag

With three championships and two 1st runner up finishes, the Filipinos bagged the overall championship in the 2018 World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) South East Asia held in Quill Citymall, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

In Hearthstone, Cara “CaraCute” Vergel De Dios got 2nd place women’s category together with Sookwan. Meanwhile in the men’s division, WESG 2016 champion Euneil “Staz” Javiñas snagged the silver medal losing only to Lalasong.

Caviar Napoleon “EnDerr” Marquises-Acampado, dominated the StarCraft 2 brackets after defeating Meomaika 3-2 in the championship.

In CS:GO men’s division, TNC Predator got silver as Alpha Red got the better of them in the championship match. While ladies of Arkangel bested team Phoenix in a 2-1 comeback to take home the glory.

In Dota 2, WESG 2016 champions TNC Predator proved they can still dominate games even with Kuku benched as they swept WG.Unity in a convincing 2-0 championship match.

EnDerr, Arkangel, and TNC Predator will represent the SEA region in the olympic-style esports competition, Global Finals in March 2019 in China.
